 Hey it's your girl JA Nursing  it's  the New Year  time to increase your Net-worth by increasing your Network. I have taken time to get involved in First Friday's. First Fridays is a community activity club whose purpose is to organize a monthly activity(s) and/or event(s) that are focused on building and improving upon awareness, networking and information sharing for youth, adults, minority and mainstream communities in education, employment, self-employment, health and wellness, the arts and other areas of interest.

First Fridays in Toronto was founded in 1994. It is one of over 30 First Fridays that occur on the first Friday of every month throughout North America in cities like Montreal, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and New York, to name a few. 

 I'm proud to announce that I will be speaking at First Friday's Health and Fitness Edition On January 16 2015. The  goal Is to teach awareness though helping the community navigate through our health care system.

Let me to reintroduce myself to you all.
 My Name is  Michelle Smith   founder of   "JA Nursing",  Born in Toronto, A  Mother of 2,  I am A proactive Nurse that currently works in Acute care Hospital.  As well as being  an Insurance mobile medical examiner for all insurance companies.  In 2011 I launched JA Smith Consulting and Nursing Services to increase the health and social literacy of individuals within our  community,  taking on a primary  focus  in working with  our marginalized  community.  Establishing partnership with Toronto  Community Housing  as a Health and Social Advocate. JA Nursing has supported health initiatives in the community by participating in various Mentoring initiatives such as Know Your Rights 2014,  Bullying segment on G98.7fm, If I Ruled Toronto,  This is Your World 2, A Member Of Sickle Cell Association of Ontario, Entrepreneur On the Rise, facilitating Mental Health  and health workshops  for youths with Micro skills, Boy and Girls Club, Power2Girls, Toronto Housing, Media Coverage of JuiceCup for MissGo2Girl  Media G98.7 African Host, CHRY 105.5fm  Health Segment  on the Wizology Show, Facilitating A Breast Cancer Campaign in partnership with The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation "Get Pink'd".

 JA Nursing Services aims  to ensure that   people of all ages  have Healthcare awareness , resources and knowledge  to navigate our healthcare and social system. My program aims to empower all individuals regardless of age,  to fully access their health and social benefits. We provide information, education and assist groups in the community by intervening to resolve issues and produce results. Healthcare and social  advocacy is a way to increase the overall literacy and wellness  of all individuals involved. 
JA Nursing  is a community division of J.A Smith Consulting and Nursing Services, The  mission is  to focus on community wellness through a comprehensive plan called HEALTH CARE SHIELD
